I’m Alex Gasteratos, a photojournalist working at the intersection of breaking news, protest, and environmental crisis. I focus on moments when history is unfolding in real time — the urgency of the street, the aftermath of disaster, and the people living through events larger than themselves.

My work is grounded in the field: close to the action, attentive to detail, and driven by the need to witness, document, and tell the truth of what happens. Alongside photography, I also work with video and documentary storytelling, building complete narratives through image, sound, and reporting.
