Alex Gasteratos

I’m Alex Gasteratos, an Athens-based photojournalist and multimedia reporter covering breaking news, protests, environmental crises and social issues across Greece.

My work focuses on events as they unfold — from social unrest and disaster response to the human realities behind major stories. Working primarily in the field, I combine photography, video and documentary storytelling to produce comprehensive visual reporting.

My work has been published by and produced in collaboration with in.gr, CNN Greece and Ihlas News Agency (IHA).

Based in Athens, available for assignments in Greece, the Balkans and the Eastern Mediterranean.
